For those of you that are curious about my work here it is. I started painting about 10 years ago after my Mother died. I've always been a runner. When things get bad the first thing I want to do is run away as far and fast as I can go. One of my escapes was to a little Island 12 miles out to sea off the coast of Maine called Monhegan. I read an article about a great Painter named Caleb Stone who was doing workshops on this island. I thought well, I have no real interest in painting but have always been artistic as were my folks. The Island part is really all I heard and use the rest as an excuse to go there. It was an amazing week and where I learned to love to paint. Enjoy the paintings.
